Hi my name is Karen and I am a fully qualified dyslexia tutor with over 15 years of teaching experience.
I have experienced what every parent goes through when they have a child with a learning difficulty. My daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia in 1997 which inspired me to help her and now others.
Having worked in primary school for 13 years as well as providing peripatetic support to local independent schools I am able to provide specialist learning programmes to monitor and evaluate progress in Literacy skills.
I create structured multi-sensory teaching programs to boost an individual’s ability with literacy skills including reading, writing and spelling.
My students may need support with assisted technology using a laptop or iPad to access the curriculum.
Some students require a confidence boost, perhaps to get them through a difficult year or impending exams.
